Helen’s Place LLC announces the second edition to the English Language Arts and Cognitive Science (ELACOGN) Curriculum Guide, is expected to be published in Winter 2023.

The ELACOGN Model, attempts to answer the question – “If ¹Jean Piaget, had lived into the 21^st century, how would he have changed his educational model to address the effects of social media on people –  especially children’s cognitive development?”

The Second Edition will feature information about choosing and creating a collection of educational materials to form an integrated unit for teaching and learning.

It will be especially helpful to teachers, educators, curriculum developers and instructional designers working on integrated curriculum for children and adults in the field of  English Language Arts and Cognitive Science including integration with nature studies, art, and science curriculum.

¹To learn more about how human brains develop, a good place to start is with the work of the famous cognitive scientist Jean Piaget who said that  children go through four stages of cognitive development to understand the world.
