Helen’s Place LLC is pleased to offer the First Edition of the English Language Arts and Cognitive Science (ELACOGN) Model Curriculum Guide.

The Elacogn Model, attempts to answer the question – “If ¹Jean Piaget, had lived into the 21^st century, how would he have changed his educational theory to address the effects of social media and artificial intelligence on people – especially on children’s cognitive development?”

Some people would have you believe that working out an American education model is too complicated and that education should only address the fundamentals of English, math and science.  However, Americans must expand their knowledge to meet the challenges they face, including dealing with social media and artificial intelligence.

Americans have the capacity to learn and evolve into the future, and a well-organized education system like Elacogn can facilitate the process.

The First Edition of the Elacogn Model Curriculum Guide features useful information about the Elacogn model for educators choosing and creating educational materials for children and adults.

It will be especially helpful to teachers, curriculum developers and instructional designers working on integrating the Elacogn model into new designs as well as in making modifications to existing curriculum that interfaces with English, nature studies, art, math and science curriculums.

¹To learn more about how the human brain develops, a good place to start is with the work of the famous cognitive scientist Jean Piaget who said that  children go through four stages of cognitive development to understand the world.
